(xposted on TFD and WoM)
The good news: my wife has recovered enough to go home. The bad news: there’s still a lot of adjustment we have to do. I didn’t really think it through, but I actually had more free time in the hospital to play/write because the nurses took care of her personal care. Now that she’s home, I’m having to help her with everything (including adjusting to life as an ostomate), so I haven’t touched a keyboard (until now) since we got home a week ago.
I’m still keeping up with goings-on via RSS on my phone…just don’t expect me to say anything meaningful for a while. Hope you guys are having fun in WoW!

Alaron, best wishes to your wife for a speedy recovery and to both of you for making a swift adjustment to your new reality. My wife is an osto-mate and leads a very normal life.
I hope your wife and you are doing better and are adjusting. Thank you for being so devoted to the site even with your personal issues. I’m sure it’s not easy but, it is appreciated by many.
I just read your post after a Wow-Hiatus of about 6 months, I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s health, its a wierd and horrible world sometimes; perhaps thats why we love WOW so much. You both will grow and thrive through this – take the vagaries of chance and make them bleed!
